Notes and Credits
01: Because Sasuke and Hinata share affinities with Fire and Lightning.
Fire The fan-made crest is a combination of the Uchiha fan and the flame which adorned younger Hinata. The Uchiha crest represents the will of those with fans who manipulate fire. - Fugaku Uchiha | Lightning The bonsai is used to represent the Uchiha hideout where Sasuke unleashed the full power of Kirin. |
02: Guardian lion-dogs (komainu) are believed to ward off evil spirits. As such, they are used to guard shrines, temples, gates and doors. They are usually portrayed in pairs and, until the Heian period, were identified separately as the female komainu (Yin) and the male shishi (Yang).
When facing the lion-dogs, Yin sits on the left (lion's right side). It is sometimes depicted with its mouth closed and with a cub under its paw. On the other hand, Yang sits on the right (lion's left side). It is depicted with its mouth open and with a ball under its paw.
Sasuke and Hinata share taijutsu named after lions.
03: A play on the complementary palettes in Shippuden.
04: Tsuru
Sasuke Uchiha members may be associated to birds. Itachi's genjutsu usually involved crows. Sasuke is most often associated to the Hawk. This is referenced in his Cursed Seal form, the name of his team with Orochimaru's subordinates and finally, his summon. Chidori can mean 'plover'; in the series, it literally meant 'a thousand birds'. Senbazuru (千羽鶴) refers to one thousand cranes. It is the practice of folding one thousand paper cranes and tying them with strings so one's wish may be granted. | Hinata Image source: fengshuibestbuy.com Hyūga members may be associated to birds. Neji used birds as a metaphor for his fate, had referred to the Hyūga Cursed Seal as one of a caged bird, and his near-death experience/actual death had been paralleled to birds - albeit none specifically a crane. Hinata, written as 雛田, can literally mean 'rice field bird'. Here, the type of bird can be ambiguous. The Hyūga divination (bagua) may have been based on tortoise shell divination. The bird most often depicted as standing on top of the tortoise is the crane (with reference to SasuHina Theory: The Four Celestial Emblems). |
05: Unconfirmed Susanoo no Mikoto and Kushinada-hime kokeshi. To coincide with SasuHina Theory: Shinto Trinity.
06: Nano-hina dolls. To coincide with SasuHina Theory: The Emperor and the Empress.
10: Sasuke disliked natto as Hinata disliked ebi.
I personally disliked the shoddy conclusion, hence, the 'epilogue'.
11: With reference to,
12: Inspired by Hinata's red lipstick and Sasuke's red rose in Road to Ninja.
